Resumen

Objective: This study aims to analyze the perceptions of different generations (Baby Boomers, Generation X, Y) in Brazil and Portugal regarding the influence of Holistic Helixes of Innovation on Eco-innovation and its impact on sustainable practices.

Methods: A quantitative approach was used, involving a survey of 1032 individuals from both countries. The data was analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling.

Results: The research found a significant influence of Holistic Helixes of Innovation on Eco-innovation. Additionally, it highlighted the positive impact of Eco-innovation on environmental practices, cleaner production, social actions, smart cities, sustainable development, and regional development.

Conclusions: The study underscores the crucial role of Eco-innovation in promoting socio-environmental aspects and sustainable regional development. It also suggests implications for policy development and organizational strategies focused on improving quality of life and sustainability.
